Hello!

My name is Giuseppina Alving and I am the Parent Community Coordinator at Lake Seneca ES, McAuliffe ES, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. MS.

 

I was born and raised in Italy, where I completed my education. I left my beautiful country 32 years ago, and after having moved around in Europe for a few years, I came to the United States in 2000, and here to Montgomery County, 22 years ago.

 

I have been with MCPS for the past 17 years, and in my job I wear many hats, but the one that I like the most is working with families to make sure that questions are answered, resources are provided, support is available, and communication between home and school is open.

 

I am looking forward to meeting you, members of my Lake Seneca, McAuliffe and MLK families!

Mi nombre es Giuseppina Alving y soy la coordinadora de la comunidad de padres de Lake Seneca ES, McAuliffe ES y Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. MS.

 

Nací y crecí en Italia, donde completé mi educación. Dejé mi hermoso país hace 32 años y, después de algunos años de trasladarme a Europa, llegué a los Estados Unidos en 2000 y aquí al condado de Montgomery, hace 22 años.

He estado con MCPS durante los últimos 17 años, y en mi trabajo hago muchas cosas, pero el que más me gusta es trabajar con las familias para asegurarme de que se responden las preguntas, se proporcionan recursos, se cuentan con apoyo y que la comunicación entre la escuela y el hogar está abierta
